Initiated by Shiva Shankaraananda, about whom nothing is known.

Baptised by John the Baptist, about whom not much is know.

He was in his late twenties or early thirties at that time.

After initiation, he practiced yoga and soon became a Yogi.

He was born of God and God\92s spirit descended upon him as a dove from heaven and John bore witness (St.John, 1.32, 33, 34).

He starts public mission when he was around 30 and ends it when he was around 54 or so.

yoga grants asana or anna that grants eternal life, is derived from nature.

Manna is the bread of life, which comes from heaven and which grants eternal life (St.John, 6.31, 35, 41, 45)

Do not eat food that perishes, but eat asana which renders man to control even death.

Do not labour for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life (St.John, 6.27).

Jnana makes one wise and free.

Truth will make you free (St.John, 8.32, 35).

Eyes fixed at mid-point between eyebrows in yoga blesses with jyothi (divine light).

The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light (St.Mathew, 6.22).

Ask, and it will be given; seek, you will get it, knock, and it will be opened.
